This Privacy Policy explains how VentaPush ("the App", "we", "us"), operated by Venta Agency, handles your information. VentaPush is a desktop application that runs locally on your computer.
1. Information we process
- Account connection data. When you connect a third-party account, the App stores the resulting authorization tokens locally on your device so it can act on your behalf.
- Basic profile information. To show you which account is connected, the App may read
basic public profile fields returned by the platform (for TikTok, via the
user.info.basicscope: an account identifier, display name and avatar). - Content you create. Scripts, voice-overs, images, clips and finished videos are stored locally in the App's data folder on your computer.
VentaPush does not run analytics or send usage telemetry about you to us.
2. How we use TikTok data
If you connect TikTok, the App uses only the scopes you authorize:
user.info.basic— to display which TikTok account is connected.video.publish— to publish a video you created to your own TikTok account, at your explicit request (Direct Post). You choose the privacy level and any required disclosures before publishing.
TikTok data obtained through these APIs is used solely to develop, maintain and support the features above, is kept on your device, and is not sold, rented, or shared with third parties. We do not use it to build advertising or behavioural profiles, and we do not use it for any purpose unrelated to publishing your own content. We handle it in accordance with TikTok's developer terms and policies.
3. Third-party services
To produce a video, the App may send the specific input you provide to the service that performs that step (for example, a text-to-speech provider for voice-over, or a media/music provider). Only the data needed for that feature is sent, and only when you trigger it. Each provider processes that data under its own privacy policy. Publishing sends your finished video to the platform you selected (e.g. TikTok, YouTube).
4. Storage & security
Your tokens and content are stored locally on your device. Data is transmitted only over encrypted HTTPS connections, directly between your device and the service you connect (for example, TikTok) — it does not pass through any VentaPush server. We apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to a local-first application; protecting the device itself (operating-system account, disk encryption, etc.) remains your responsibility. Because there is no central VentaPush server holding your content, removing the data from your computer removes it from the App.
5. Data retention & your choices
- You can disconnect any linked account from within the App at any time, which removes its stored tokens.
- You can delete the App's local data folder to erase stored content and credentials.
- You can revoke VentaPush's access from the third-party platform's own settings (for example, in your TikTok account's connected-apps settings).
If you stop using the App, or if our access to a platform's API is terminated, the App ceases using the corresponding TikTok data, and you may delete all locally stored data at any time.
6. Your rights (EEA / UK)
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. Because VentaPush is local-first, you can exercise most of these directly: your data lives on your device, so you can view or delete it at any time, and you can revoke the App's access from your TikTok account settings. For any other request, contact us at nael@venta.agency. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority (in France, the CNIL — cnil.fr).
7. Children
VentaPush is not directed to children and should only be used by people who meet the minimum age required by the platforms they connect.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version.
